RusVelo took to the famous sterrati of Tuscany, reccing the course for the newest classic in the calendar – the Strade Bianche. The beautiful but tough course, winds it’s way through the Tuscan countryside, from the start in San Gimignano to the stunning finish in the Piazza del Campo in Siena. The race is an important one for Parentini, not only are RusVelo racing in their kit, one section of the ‘white road’ is a couple of kilometres from Parentini’s headquarters.
Recce’s are important for races, and especially for Rus Velo in the Strade Bianche. It will be their first time at the event, which starts on March 7th. Unlike Paris Roubaix, where teams go to great lengths fine tuning their equipment, RusVelo’s only concession to the gravelled roads is to ride 25c tubulars instead of their usual 23c.
We wish them luck.
